Learning Disability Services

Go back

Learning Disability Services provide support to adults with a learning disability who live in the community.

This can include residential home services, day support services and short break services.

Shared Lives Scheme

The Shared Lives Scheme provides people with a range of disabilities the opportunity to live in the community with carer families who are trained and supported by the scheme.  People using the scheme are welcomed into their family life and encouraged to make new friends, enjoy new experiences and share in everyday activities.

The scheme also provides respite and day support to people living in their own homes and befriending support.

More information can be found on the Shared Lives website.
