Training and support for people working in social care

Medway College of Social Care is a partnership which supports social care providers and those working in social care in Medway with their training and development needs.

We are also committed to promoting careers in social care for those already in the sector and for those who are interested in joining.

On our website you will find information about working in social care, guidance for employers around workforce development and information about the training and short courses that we have on offer.

Our new dedicated Moving and Handling training room is now available.

In partnership with Medway Council’s Adult Social Care team, we are proud to offer training in our fully equipped Moving and Handling training room. This room is dedicated to delivering safe and effective manual handling practices and is unique to social care in Medway.
